www.tsa.gov/blog – Laugh or Cry?

I took a look at the TSA’s new blog and I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. The first thing I noticed the presence of the DoubleClick user tracker bug when I was waiting for the page to load. Given the dust-up over FISA and legally questionable wiretaps on a massive scale I find it a bit ominous.

I must be reading Bruce Schnier’s blog too much when the TSA’s motto/saying/catchphrase/latest-piece-of-FUD is laugh out loud funny:

“Terrorists Evolve. Threats Evolve. Security Must Stay Ahead. You Play A Part.”

Yeesh. I can almost see Jack Bauer in those words. Too bad we don’t live in a “24″ world where the agents are square jawed men of steely resolve who get the bad guy in the end. Hey TSA! here’s an idea — how about you work on actually finding the bombs rather than staging “security theater“.

Wow, another blog that attacks another blog. Especially attacking TSA. Himm, finding bombs, like you know what a bomb looks like. Have you felt one, or even know what the many various bombs contain?

Hypothetical Labs, what kind of blog is this. I mean you have a pic of a vial/ scientific measurement glass, and yet, your attacking TSA.

Your like everyone else out there, you much rather not have a TSA or some sort of secure-related for of agency. No, you'd rather have a re-make of 9/11 again. I mean seriously, I'll bet you don't do everything at your job the best. So heres news to you, suck it up, & quit whining.
