Erlang EC2 Image Available

Posted: February 2nd, 2008 | Author: kevin | Filed under: Erlang | View Comments

It’s not done yet, but I’ve gone ahead and made a version of my Erlang-enabled EC2 image publicly available. The image id is

ami-dd3fdab4

and is built on Ubuntu Server 7.10 with the latest Erlang release, R12B-0. The Erlang install has been patched to use this, but it’s otherwise a completely stock Erlang install. Hopefully someone will find it useful.

  • I get this when I do ec2-describe-images -a | grep hypotheticalabs:

    IMAGE ami-dd3fdab4 hypotheticalabs-ec2-images/ubuntu-7.10-erlang-R12B-0_20080129.manifest.xml 477195624870 available public

The "available public" bit tells me that the image is publicly available. Please let me know if this isn't the case and I'll try to fix it.
